IBM Debuts Food Traceability iPhone App | ReadWriteWeb IBM will demo a new app that will bring the Internet of Things to the iPhone. The as yet unreleased iPhone app is called Breadcrumbs and it will give consumers access to information about grocery food items. The app will be able to scan barcodes and deliver a summary of the ingredients in a food item, along with when it was manufactured. That data is usually on the food label, but Breadcrumbs goes a step further - it can provide extra information such as product recall data. If a product has been recalled in the past, this app will tell the consumer all of the relevant details. Breadcrumbs is able to scan barcodes using the iPhone’s camera.

The man stood alone in the middle of the road as the tanks approached. He held two bags, one in each hand. As the tanks came to a stop, he appeared to be trying to wave them away. In response, the front tank attempted to drive around the man, but the man repeatedly stepped into the path of the tank in a show of nonviolent action.
OMG it was cold today. Too cold for the kids to kick the footy outside. Too windy as well. Trees and branches howling in the gale. I made bangers and mash with beans for dinner - “five star” the kids said. The perfect warming meal.
I wish the iPhone weather app would display the current situation rather that always tricking me with 23 deg and sunny. The calendar displays the current day and date, so why not the weather app?
